Director

We are looking for an experienced Director to join our London team. This is a senior advisory role working closely with Alma’s partners and leadership team to deliver strategic counsel to clients and help drive the continued growth of the firm.

You will play a central role in shaping client strategy, developing investment cases and advising senior executives on complex communications challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic communications counsel to boards and senior management teams
  • Build and maintain trusted C suite relationships across client accounts
  • Develop and articulate compelling investment cases for listed companies
  • Support companies preparing for IPO on AIM and the main market
  • Lead strategic direction on client programmes and new initiatives
  • Contribute to the growth and development of Alma's client base
  • Support team development through mentoring and reviews
  • Lead commercial discussions including fee negotiations and account profitability
  • Work closely with partners and senior leadership to maximise opportunities across the firm

Key Skills

  • Significant experience advising listed companies or businesses preparing to list
  • Credibility to challenge senior stakeholders and offer clear strategic advice
  • Proven experience developing impactful communications and media strategies

Consultant

We are looking for a Consultant to join our growing London team. This role sits at the heart of our client work, supporting the team across announcements, results, investor engagement and media relations while developing the skills required to advise clients independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely media and peer monitoring to keep clients and teams informed
  • Support client teams with preparation for meetings, announcements and presentations
  • Draft key client materials including press releases, briefing documents, Q&A and presentations
  • Upload RNS announcements and manage distribution processes
  • Support logistics around client announcements and events
  • Build confidence speaking with journalists and analysts about clients
  • Contribute research and materials for new business pitches
  • Produce high quality client documents using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
